“The Original” Five Wood Beads Copper Hoops

These bohemian-style hoops are a must-have for any casual look. Don’t be afraid to stand out and be Original when you put these on.

These hoops are made from pure copper and are 20 gauge, the standard ear piercing size. On each earring, there are five 16mm(about a half inch) diameter wood beads with a satin finish in a natural shade that goes well with all skin tones. These two-inch hoops have a hook-style backing and L-shaped earring post. The earring with the hook backing that is open on the left side is designed for the left ear, and the earring with the hook backing that is open on the right side is designed for the right ear. To wear these hoops, carefully push the tail end of the L-shaped earring post through ear and slightly angle it up until it rests against the back of the ear, pointing upwards. To attach the hook-style backing, hold onto the back of the earring with one hand, and with the other hand, grab onto the tail of the L-shaped post and slightly pull it to the left and back(for the left side earring) or to the right and back(for the right side earring) and push it into the open hook.

***Note: Shades of copper vary due to oxidation. As copper goes through this natural process, it may develop a green/bluish film over time (like the beautiful Statue of Liberty, which is made from copper). This film can transfer onto the skin (aka turn your skin green); however, this does not happen to everyone. If this does occur, it is normal and not harmful. This film can be washed off the skin with soap and water. If desired, the film can also be removed from the copper jewelry piece with a jewelry polishing cloth. You can also use a jewelry polishing cloth regularly to brighten up your copper jewelry piece when it begins to get darker overtime if you wish.
